My mother is overjoyed that my sister came to visit me and I quickly sewed a blouse and skirt for her.

My mother is full of praise for me .She tries hard to have a share in my life. Half way through the letter she is too tired to carry on. She asks me to write soon again.

My father ask my grandmother if it is with the help of the Port wine that she got better and ask what the price for a bottle is. He maintains his good humor no matter how hard the times are.

My father still takes an interest in, and asks after friends. He hopes that his brother in Equador is well as there was a bad earthquake there.



Meine Mutter ist glücklich zu hören dass meine Schwester mich besucht hat und ich ihr schnell einen Rock und eine Bluse genäht habe


Meine Mutter ist stolz auf mich. Sie versucht an meinem Leben teil zu haben. Beim Brieschreiben wurde sie zu müde um fertig zu schreiben. Sie erhofft sich Post von mir


Mein Vater fragt ob meine Grossmutter mit Hilfe des Portwein wieder genesen ist und fragt wie teuer eine Flasche ist. ( Trotz allem hat er noch seinen alten Humor beibehalten)


Mein Vater ist an allem interessiert und fragt nach alten Bekannten. Er hofft seinem Bruder in Equador ist bei dem Erdbeben nichts zugestossen
