I had written home that I want to change over from my youth movement "Habonim" to a more religious one "Bachad". My mother refers to that. She asks of me to let her know my daily routine in greater detail

My mother asks, how come that an other girl wrote home that she had been invited to visit Lady Taprain,(niece of the late Lord and mother of the present Lord Balfour) and I had never mentioned such a visit.
