My mother writes that they had visitors including my mother and sister-in law
in order to celebrated the last day of Chanuka together. My father had a day off and they are pleased to have time together.
My parents had asked my mother and sister-in-law as well as some friends to their place to celebrate my wedding. She enjoyed laying a festive table with all the trimmings and wished that we all could have been together. Everybody is proud of us, the young couple. My father wonders if I am married by now. Then I would have somewhere to be where I belong. He is still hopeful that the next year will be a better year.
My mother ask for the recipe of the cheese cake that I used to bake.
Meine Eltern hatten viel Besuch zu Chanuka. Auch meine Schwiegermutter und Schwägerin besuchten sie. Mein Vater hatten einen Tag frei und dann freuen sie sich zusammen sein zu
können. Meine Eltern feierten meine Hochzeit zusammen mit meiner Schwiegermutter und Schwägerin. Meine Mutter deckte einen festlichen Tisch mit einem blütenwiessen Tafeltuch und der Mitte mein kleine gelbe Vase. Wie schön wäre es gewesen, wenn es mir vergönnt gewesen wäre, Urselchenns Hochzeit auszurichten. Wir sind alle stolz auf euch. Mein Vater fragt ob, ich nun schon verheiratet sei. Dann hätte ich ein Bleibe. Er hofft das es im nächste Jahr besser sein wird. Meine Mutter möchte das Rezept des kleinen Quarkteegebäck dass ich
so oft gebacken hatte.חזרתי מוקדם ממשמרת חג ועכשיו אני יושבת ליד שולחן ערוך חגיגי יחד עם אבא וחושבת עליכם. לפני שבוע היו אורחים אצלנו. גם ביום ראשון. את חנוכה חגגנו יחד עם ידידים וחשבנו עליכם במיוחד על הזוג הצעיר אורזולה ויוסל. על השולחן מפה לבנה נוצצת ועליה מפית מרכזית, המפה הסרוגה העגולה שסבתא סרגה ובאמצע צנצנת פרחים. במשך כל אחר הצהרים, בזמן שערכתי את השולחן חשבתי כמה שהיה יכול להיות יפה אילו כולנו היינו יכולים לחגוג ביחד את חתונתך.
